At Dopelancers Limited, we strive to ensure that both clients and freelancers have a positive experience on our platform. In the event that you are not satisfied with a service or encounter any issues with a transaction, we have created the following refund policy to address your concerns.
1. Refund Eligibility
Refunds may be requested under the following circumstances:
- The freelancer fails to deliver the agreed-upon work within the specified time frame, unless otherwise mutually agreed upon.
- The delivered work does not meet the project requirements as outlined in the job description.
- There was an error with the payment processing or overpayment for a service.
Refunds will not be issued if:
- The project was completed as agreed upon by both parties and the client has approved the work.
- The freelancer has provided the services, but the client later changes their mind or is dissatisfied with the work.
- The issue is due to client error or failure to provide necessary information or feedback.
2. Refund Process
To request a refund, clients must:
- Contact Dopelancers at support@dopelancers.com within 7 days of the project submission or payment.
- Provide clear evidence, such as communication with the freelancer, incomplete or unsatisfactory work, or any other relevant details that support the refund request.
Upon receiving the request, we will:
- Review the case within 5 business days.
- Contact the freelancer for clarification, if necessary.
- Notify the client of our decision and issue a refund if applicable.
3. Refunds for Escrow Payments
If a payment was made via escrow for a project, the following steps apply:
- A refund will be processed to the client if the work is not delivered as promised or if the terms of the agreement were violated.
- Funds will only be released to the freelancer once the client has approved the completed work.
If a dispute arises, Dopelancers will mediate the process to ensure a fair resolution. If the matter cannot be resolved, the platform will make a final decision based on the terms and evidence provided by both parties.
